TIFFIN, OHIO – May 1, 2025 - Tiffin Architectural Practice, LLC (tAP), a full-service architecture firm founded by Tiffin native Michael Work, has officially opened at 65 E. Market Street in the heart of Downtown Tiffin. The practice opened its doors in February 2025 and is now accepting clients for a wide range of architectural services.
Michael Work, a 2006 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, brings over a decade of professional experience to his new business. After earning both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture from Kent State University, he spent several years working in Cleveland and Findlay before fulfilling a lifelong goal of establishing his own firm in his hometown.
“Downtown Tiffin has experienced incredible growth in the past 10 years, and I am excited to help continue that growth as a resident, a father, a coach, an Architect, and a Downtown business owner,” said Work.
tAP focuses on client-oriented design, providing comprehensive services from initial concept planning and 3D visualization to construction administration and project closeout. The firm prides itself on building strong relationships through the design process and helping clients navigate the challenges of renovation or new construction projects.
"We’re thrilled to welcome Tiffin Architectural Practice to our growing downtown community," said Mayor Wilkinson. "Their presence not only adds to the vitality of our historic district but also reflects the kind of creative, professional talent that continues to choose Tiffin as home.”
Work’s previous experience spans residential, commercial, and industrial design, including the All Patriots Memorial in Tiffin and the new headquarters for Wilson Football in Ada, Ohio.
In addition to launching tAP, Work remains active in the Tiffin community. He serves on the Downtown Design Committee, is an assistant football coach at Tiffin Columbian, and coaches with Big Sticks Baseball Club.
Tiffin Architectural Practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To schedule a consultation, contact Michael Work at 567-208-0030 or mwork@tiffinAP.com. For more information, visit www.tiffinAP.com.

About Downtown Tiffin
The revitalization of downtown Tiffin began in 2011, when a group of community members came together to form “Tiffin Tomorrow”, with the goal of promoting and encouraging economic development in Downtown Tiffin, and creating plans, programs, and actions to ensure long-term vitality and prosperity. In 2014, the City of Tiffin contracted with SIEDC to act as the downtown organization and “Tiffin Tomorrow” came under the SIEDC (now TSEP) umbrella as the “Downtown Development Board,” which serves as the governing board of the downtown organization. In 2015, Tiffin joined Heritage Ohio’s Main Street Program. For more information, click here.
