TIFFIN, OHIO – August 22, 2023 – Set to take place in Downtown Tiffin's Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA), the annual Downtown Tiffin Pizza Party, chaired by the Seneca County Young Professionals (SCYP), will showcase over a dozen local restaurants serving pizza-related food items for $2 per ticket.

The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 21st, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, on Washington Street and in City Lots 5 & 7. Tickets for the event can be pre-purchased soon at Ralph’s Joy of Living, Simply Susan’s, and The Renaissance of Tiffin. Tickets will be available for purchase on the evening of the event at the Seneca County Commissioners parking lot adjacent to Reclaim It 127. All tickets will be sold for $2, and only cash payments will be accepted.

An aspect that makes this event even more meaningful is the SCYP’s commitment to supporting the community. Fifty percent of the proceeds from each ticket sold will be donated to the local non-profit organization, Transformation Life Center.

Bryce Riggs, chair of the event, emphasized the importance of events like the Downtown Tiffin Pizza Party, stating, "Embracing the heart of our community, the Downtown Tiffin Pizza Party not only supports our local pizzerias and provides a great experience for all those who attend. It also embraces and supports a local nonprofit that does so much to support those in need in our community, the Transformation Life Center."

Attendees can enjoy live music by No Eileen in City Lot #7 followed by Thursday Night Tunes, featuring the Eric Sowers Band from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Frost-Kalnow Amphitheater at the East Green.

About Downtown Tiffin

The revitalization of downtown Tiffin began in 2011, when a group of community members came together to form “Tiffin Tomorrow”, with the goal of promoting and encouraging economic development in Downtown Tiffin, and creating plans, programs and actions to ensure long-term vitality and prosperity. In 2014, the City of Tiffin contracted with SIEDC to act as the downtown organization and “Tiffin Tomorrow” came under the SIEDC (now TSEP) umbrella as the “Downtown Development Board,” which serves as the governing board of the downtown organization. In 2015, Tiffin joined Heritage Ohio’s Main Street Program. For more information, click here.
