TIFFIN, OHIO – May 6, 2025 – Downtown Tiffin is pleased to announce the return of the annual Barking Lot Party, scheduled for Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event will take place in City Parking Lot 7 and throughout the downtown district as part of the 3rd Thursday series.
This free community event invites visitors and their dogs to enjoy an evening filled with pet-friendly activities, sidewalk specials, giveaways, and entertainment. Attendees can look forward to a dog obstacle course, games, paw-manicures, special pup-cup treats, a themed photo booth, and exclusive D.O.R.A. beverage promotions for adults.
City Parking Lot 7, located on South Washington Street, will be transformed into the central event space with community vendors and music provided by T-Town DJ. While the lot will be closed to vehicle parking, all other city lots will remain open for public use.
Mayor Wilkinson stated, “We’re excited to welcome residents and their four-legged friends to City Lot 7 for the Barking Lot Party. Events like this bring our community together in fun, unique ways and showcase the spirit of Tiffin—friendly, welcoming, and full of heart. I encourage everyone to stop by, enjoy the festivities, and celebrate the special bond we share with our pets.”
All dogs must be kept on a leash. For safety reasons, attendees are asked not to bring dogs that are aggressive toward other dogs, children, or strangers.

About Downtown Tiffin
The revitalization of downtown Tiffin began in 2011, when a group of community members came together to form “Tiffin Tomorrow”, with the goal of promoting and encouraging economic development in Downtown Tiffin, and creating plans, programs, and actions to ensure long-term vitality and prosperity. In 2014, the City of Tiffin contracted with SIEDC to act as the downtown organization and “Tiffin Tomorrow” came under the SIEDC (now TSEP) umbrella as the “Downtown Development Board,” which serves as the governing board of the downtown organization. In 2015, Tiffin joined Heritage Ohio’s Main Street Program. For more information, click here.
