Get Ready to Unleash the Fun

May 16, 2023

TIFFIN, OHIO – May 16, 2023 – Downtown Tiffin is gearing up for their annual 3rd Thursday Barking Lot Party on May 18, 2023, from 5-8 pm. This highly anticipated event is a celebration of our four-legged friends and promises to be a fun-filled evening for the whole family.

The Barking Lot Party will take place throughout Downtown Tiffin and in City #7 located on South Washington Street. The event will feature a variety of dog-friendly activities hosted by downtown merchants, including a pet costume contest and dog agility course.  The Kiwanis Club of Seneca County will be selling digital photos with your pet and T-Shirts to support the Tiffin Police Department K9 fundraiser.   There will also be musical entertainment, food trucks, and vendors on hand, offering a range of tasty treats and unique pet-related products.

Mayor Dawn Iannantuono expressed her excitement about the event, stating “The Barking Lot Party is a fantastic opportunity for pet owners and dog lovers to come together and enjoy a fun-filled evening in Downtown Tiffin. We’re thrilled to be able to offer this event for the third year in a row, and we look forward to seeing everyone there.”

Admission to the Barking Lot Party is free, and all well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend. Participants are encouraged to bring their furry friends on a leash and to clean up after them.

3rd Thursdays are sponsored by UIS Insurance & Investments, Reineke Family Dealerships, and Destination Seneca County.

About Downtown Tiffin

The revitalization of downtown Tiffin began in 2011, when a group of community members came together to form “Tiffin Tomorrow”, with the goal of promoting and encouraging economic development in Downtown Tiffin, and creating plans, programs, and actions to ensure long-term vitality and prosperity. In 2014, the City of Tiffin contracted with SIEDC to act as the downtown organization and “Tiffin Tomorrow” came under the SIEDC (now TSEP) umbrella as the “Downtown Development Board,” which serves as the governing board of the downtown organization. In 2015, Tiffin joined Heritage Ohio’s Main Street Program. For more information, click here.
