Downtown Tiffin Business Directory Connects Businesses and Customers

A new website is available for residents and visitors to find out everything that is offered in Downtown Tiffin with just a click of a button. The Downtown Tiffin Business Directory is an interactive site where customers can search for products that are available downtown, including shopping, dining, classes and arts. It is a one stop location for downtown business information, and it links directly to the individual business pages for online shopping options.

The site features a search bar to find individual items or services and category tabs for Art, Classes, Fitness, Food & Drink, Glass, Home, Religion, Services, and Shopping. The service was developed by Judy Smith and members of the Downtown Business Enhancement Committee to support downtown small businesses.

Bill Jones, chair of the Downtown Business Enhancement Committee said, “We’re excited to be able to link all of the downtown businesses with this website and show people that there’s a lot to do in Downtown Tiffin.”

The revitalization of downtown Tiffin began in 2011, when a group of community members came together to form “Tiffin Tomorrow”, with the goal of promoting and encouraging economic development in Downtown Tiffin, and creating plans, programs, and actions to ensure long-term vitality and prosperity. In 2014, the City of Tiffin contracted with SIEDC to act as the downtown organization and “Tiffin Tomorrow” came under the SIEDC (now TSEP) umbrella as the “Downtown Development Board,” which serves as the governing board of the downtown organization.
