City of Tiffin implements online application for ABR

April 12, 2023

TIFFIN, Ohio – April 12, 2023 – The City of Tiffin has recently implemented a new online application process for the Architectural Board of Review and Façade Enhancement Program, streamlining the process for developers and City staff. The form can be found at www.tiffinohio.gov/ABR.

This online platform will be used for applications of the Certificate of Appropriateness and Façade Enhancement Program grants. In order to submit the form, applicants are required to completely fill out the form, and a confirmation screen will be presented after submission. Following that, the process of going before the ABR for approval will remain the same.

Mayor Dawn Iannantuono said, “I thank our staff and those at TSEP who have worked to create a modern application process that cuts down on the administrative hassle and better serves our applicants.”

Additional details and program guidelines may be found at our website, www.tiffinohio.gov/ABR. Project specific questions or those regarding the application process should to be directed to Downtown Tiffin Main Street Manager Donna Gross at gross@tiffinseneca.org.

About Downtown Tiffin

The revitalization of downtown Tiffin began in 2011, when a group of community members came together to form “Tiffin Tomorrow”, with the goal of promoting and encouraging economic development in Downtown Tiffin, and creating plans, programs, and actions to ensure long-term vitality and prosperity. In 2014, the City of Tiffin contracted with SIEDC to act as the downtown organization and “Tiffin Tomorrow” came under the SIEDC (now TSEP) umbrella as the “Downtown Development Board,” which serves as the governing board of the downtown organization. In 2015, Tiffin joined Heritage Ohio’s Main Street Program. For more information, click here.
