Downtown Tiffin to Host “Chill Out in Downtown Tiffin” Third Thursday Event

TIFFIN, OHIO – June 4, 2026 – Downtown Tiffin will host its newly themed Third Thursday event, “Chill Out in Downtown Tiffin,” on Thursday, June 18 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The evening will feature family-friendly activities, food vendors, and specials from downtown businesses.

The event will include water activities in the RTA parking lot, providing opportunities for families and children to cool off during the summer evening. Visitors are also encouraged to enjoy the splash pad at National Corner while exploring downtown.

Throughout the evening, downtown businesses will offer special promotions, sales, and grab-and-go food features. Court Street will host local businesses, community organizations, and food trucks.

“We are thrilled to kick off the summer season with Chill Out in Downtown Tiffin,” said Marketing Committee Chair Cheyane Thacker. “Our Third Thursday events are all about bringing the community together, and this month is the perfect opportunity for families to beat the heat, support our fantastic local businesses, and enjoy an evening of music and fun. Whether you’re splashing around in the RTA lot or grabbing dinner from one of our local restaurants before the concert, there’s truly something for everyone to enjoy downtown.”

In addition to the evening’s activities, attendees will have the opportunity to complete an online “Chill Out Checklist” passport by visiting participating downtown businesses throughout the event. Participants who complete the passport will be entered for a chance to win Chamber Cash, encouraging visitors to explore, shop, dine, and discover everything Downtown Tiffin has to offer.

The City of Tiffin’s Parks and Recreation will host the first Thursday Night Tunes concert of the season at the East Green Amphitheater with live music by Paul Grover at 7:00 p.m.. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of music in downtown Tiffin.

The revitalization of Downtown Tiffin began in 2011 with the formation of Tiffin Tomorrow, a grassroots initiative led by community members dedicated to promoting economic development and ensuring the long-term prosperity of the downtown district.
