Together with Seneca Regional Chamber & Development and Destination Seneca County, these efforts are part of the Seneca County Collaborative, recognizing the people and projects shaping our community.
The Seneca County Collaborative Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner brings our entire community together for one night to celebrate the people that make it special.
Nominations received by July 31 will be considered for this year’s awards. Nominations submitted after July 31 will be considered for the following year.
Award Categories
Community Impact Award
The Community Impact Award recognizes a specific project, investment, or initiative that has created clear, visible, and measurable change in Seneca County. This award highlights efforts that have strengthened the community through job creation, redevelopment, expanded services, or improved quality of life. The focus is on demonstrated results and lasting outcomes, not ongoing service or general contributions. This award recognizes efforts that create impact beyond a single organization and benefit the broader community.
Entrepreneurial Excellence Award
The Entrepreneurial Excellence Award recognizes an entrepreneur or business that demonstrates innovation, initiative, and calculated risk-taking to launch or grow an operation in Seneca County. This award highlights forward momentum through expansion, reinvestment, new markets, or job creation. It is intended to recognize those actively building and growing something, not long-established or legacy operations without recent growth or reinvestment.
Excellence in Tourism Award
The Excellence in Tourism Award recognizes an individual, group, project, or program that strengthens Seneca County as a destination. This award celebrates leadership, creativity, and collaboration that enhance visitor experiences, promote tourism, and support the county’s tourism economy. It honors contributions that extend beyond a single organization and benefit the broader community.
Leadership Award
The Leadership Award honors an individual or organization that has demonstrated meaningful leadership and service in Seneca County. This award recognizes those who consistently contribute to the success of others and play an active role in moving the community forward. Recipients are trusted leaders whose involvement, commitment, and ability to follow through over time make a lasting difference.
Women’s Excellence Award
The Women’s Excellence Award recognizes a woman who is making a meaningful difference in Seneca County through professional achievement, leadership, collaboration, and community involvement. This award celebrates individuals who are driving progress in their field, supporting others, and contributing to the broader success of the community.
